Geoprocessing
Pick one or several. With more than one they are folded in order, which is the same answer as doing them one at a time.
Enclosed voids become features with every FID set to −1, so they can be selected. ArcGIS calls this NO_GAPS.
Features sharing these values are merged. Tick none and everything becomes one feature.
Output fields are named STAT_field, as ArcGIS names them.
Unticked (ArcGIS SINGLE_PART) splits disjoint pieces into one feature each, repeating the attributes.
Lines only. Merges runs that join end to end, leaving two unconnected roads of the same name as two features.
How far a simplified edge may move from the original. Measured on the ground, so 100 m is 100 m at any latitude.
