Participation statement
By ticking "I agree that my answers are recorded and used" at the start, you give your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation) to what this statement describes. Consent is voluntary. Without it you cannot label, and nothing else follows from not giving it.
1. What is recorded
- For every answer: the answer to the question, a lemma you type, the irregular-form flag, the revision number of the answer, when it was saved, the time you took to answer (in milliseconds) and the application version.
- Which items were shown to you, when and how many times.
All of it is linked to a random participant identifier, not to your name or email address.
2. How your answers are used and what the public receives
Your answers are combined with other participants' answers to evaluate and improve an open Croatian stemmer and to build an open dataset for the Croatian language. The public receives only aggregated labels: for each item, the result combined from all answers to it. Published files never contain your individual answers together with your identifier, and never your name or email address. The licences of published data are set out in the terms of participation (section 5).
3. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by erasing your profile on the "My data" page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing before it.
4. What happens to your answers when you erase your profile
- Your answers stay in the dataset under a new random identifier that is linked neither to you nor to your previous identifier. Of each answer's time only the day is kept; the time you took to answer and the list of items shown to you are deleted.
- If your profile is blocked or set aside at the moment you erase it, your answers are deleted instead.
- Labels that have already been published are not changed.
5. Age
Only people aged 18 or over may take part. You confirm this separately when you start.
How we process your data, for how long and what your rights are is explained in the privacy notice.
