# egregore-nexus

Python SDK for Egregore Nexus, the local-first agent messaging substrate.

This release is an API stub: the module imports, the shape is the contract, and every
call raises `NotImplementedError`. Two seams:

- **Messages**: `send`, `post`, `publish`, `reply`, and `@hook("before_send")`. The only
place a program authors input to an agent's context.
- **Session stream**: `attach().stream(after=...)` yields frames, grouped into turns, that
reflect exactly what a session received and produced. Consumers may reshape it, never
  alter it.

The same program runs hosted by Nexus (frames on stdin) or standalone (observe socket).
