• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.comminution_law_fit(t, d, law: 'str' = 'all') -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import grind; grind.comminution_law_fit(t, d, law: 'str' = 'all') -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("comminution_law_fit"))
Fits a comminution law to the time course of particle size d(t) (assuming energy ∝ t; see the module header). The error is measured in log(diameter).
t: net grinding time (in place of energy, ≥ 0), d: representative size at that time [µm] (D50 etc.). Independent trials may be listed with the same t multiple times.
Models: Kick ln x = ln x₀ − k t; laws with n ≠ 1 are x^{1−n} = x₀^{1−n} + (n−1) k t (k = E/C per unit time). law: "all" (all of kick / bond / rittinger / walker) or a single name. Returns: fits (law → n, x0, k, rms_log, aic, residual_log), best_fixed (the one with minimum rms_log among the 3 fixed-n laws), n_points. x0 becoming inf is the fit's result that "the feed-size term is not needed" (x₀^{1−n} → 0 with n > 1), and it is returned honestly as such. Fewer than 3 points / non-positive size → ValueError.
