crossing op• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.crossing_clear_time(stop_to_edge: 'float', crossing_length: 'float', car_length: 'float', *, beyond: 'float' = 0.5, accel: 'float', v_max: 'Optional[float]' = None, v0: 'float' = 0.0) -> 'Dict[str, float]' (to call the implementation directly, import drivecrossing; drivecrossing.crossing_clear_time(stop_to_edge: 'float', crossing_length: 'float', car_length: 'float', *, beyond: 'float' = 0.5, accel: 'float', v_max: 'Optional[float]' = None, v0: 'float' = 0.0) -> 'Dict[str, float]'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("crossing_clear_time"))
Time (closed form) from starting at the stop line until the rear end of the vehicle passes the far edge of the railroad crossing + beyond.
Distance D = stop_to_edge + crossing_length + car_length + beyond (the vehicle position is its front end). It accelerates at constant accel to v_max and cruises (driving manual 6-1-1(5) "in one go without shifting gears" = does not stop on the way). Return value: distance, time, t_on_track (time the front end reaches the near edge of the track), v_exit.

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
