cutting_episode_synth — DRIVE cutting op

• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.cutting_episode_synth(R: 'float' = 400.0, theta_deg: 'float' = 4.0, vx: 'float' = 6.0, vz: 'float' = 4.0, k_wrist: 'float' = 4.0, dt: 'float' = 0.1, n_frames: 'int' = 40, heel_x0: 'float' = 12.0, edge_start: 'float' = 27.0, scene=None) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import cutting; cutting.cutting_episode_synth(R: 'float' = 400.0, theta_deg: 'float' = 4.0, vx: 'float' = 6.0, vz: 'float' = 4.0, k_wrist: 'float' = 4.0, dt: 'float' = 0.1, n_frames: 'int' = 40, heel_x0: 'float' = 12.0, edge_start: 'float' = 27.0, scene=None) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("cutting_episode_synth"))

Usage

Builds 1 cutting episode from closed-form motion (quasi-static, rigid-plastic food item + compliant wrist that is soft only vertically). Returns a dict (columns are numpy arrays).

Command: move the blade heel at (vx, −vz) mm/s (k_wrist N/mm). The food does not move until it starts cutting, and the pushing force while cutting is R · w_eff · 1/(1+ξ²) (slice_push of cut_force_atkins). The blade stays at the height "command + F/k", and what has been cut does not recover. It stops when the lowest point of the edge (within the food's width) comes 0.3 mm above the cutting board. Return value: t, heel_x, heel_z_cmd, heel_z, edge_z_c (true edge height at the food centre), F (true pushing force), w_eff, xi, params.
