diabolo_params — DRIVE diabolo op

• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.diabolo_params(kind: 'str' = 'red', **override) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import diabolo; diabolo.diabolo_params(kind: 'str' = 'red', **override) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("diabolo_params"))

Usage

Dictionary of diabolo and string dimensions. kind = red / blue / patterned / green (mass, diameter, length and bearing from Table I of the paper).

Values not given in the paper are assumptions, and their names are recorded in assumed: axle radius 6.5 mm (default of the public implementation), string 1.45 m (the "145 cm" in the text), μ_acc = 1/r (rolling limit, rad/m), μ_dec = 0.8/r, c_L = 1 cm and c_F = 5 cm (paper's figure caption), taut-string margin 3 cm (public implementation), plane-rule margin 5 cm (text), cup bottom plate radius 12 mm at 12 mm from the centre, markers at 8 positions at 55 % of the inner-surface radius (of which nos. 0, 1, 3 are reflective = an asymmetric arrangement that uniquely determines the direction of rotation. The paper kept the mass symmetric with non-reflective printed dummies).

Raises ValueError: unknown kind, misspelled key (fail-closed), mass or dimension not a finite positive number, bottom plate outside the cup, c_L ≥ c_F.
