diabolo op• Data kinds: signal × signal × scalar × scalar → table
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.diabolo_spin_from_markers(phases, smears, dt: 'float', exposure: 'float', *, use_smear: 'bool' = True) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import diabolo; diabolo.diabolo_spin_from_markers(phases, smears, dt: 'float', exposure: 'float', *, use_smear: 'bool' = True) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("diabolo_spin_from_markers"))
Per-frame phase ψ_k (mod 2π) and blur arc width → rotation speed ω, in rad/s (about the axis, right-handed).
Wrapping the difference between neighbouring frames into (−π, π] can only read up to |ω| dt < π (it aliases at Nyquist, the wagon-wheel illusion). With use_smear, arc width / exposure = a coarse value of |ω| selects the 2π k branch (a coarse value that does not alias × a fine value that does). Assumes that the error of the arc width is smaller than half of the branch spacing 2π/dt. Returns {"omega", "omega_wrapped", "omega_smear", "branch"}. Raises ValueError: fewer than 2 frames of phase, lengths differ, dt ≤ 0, exposure < 0, non-finite values.
