prism_mesh — DRIVE japan op

• Data kinds: any → any

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.prism_mesh(footprint: 'np.ndarray | Sequence[Sequence[float]]', height: 'float', *, base_z: 'float' = 0.0) -> 'tuple[np.ndarray, np.ndarray, np.ndarray]' (to call the implementation directly, import driveplateau; driveplateau.prism_mesh(footprint: 'np.ndarray | Sequence[Sequence[float]]', height: 'float', *, base_z: 'float' = 0.0) -> 'tuple[np.ndarray, np.ndarray, np.ndarray]'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("prism_mesh"))

Usage

Extrudes a footprint polygon into a prism of height height (no bottom face).

In the vertex order, V[0:k] is the bottom ring and V[k:2k] is the top ring (same order). Sides are 2 triangles per edge (a quad), the roof is ear-clipped triangles. Returned in the orientation that gives outward normals.

Args:

footprint: (k,2) local x,y [m]. Any orientation (aligned to counter-clockwise internally).

height: prism height [m] > 0.

base_z: z of the bottom [m].

Returns:

(V (2k,3) float64, F (m,3) int64, is_roof (m,) bool).

Raises:

ValueError: height ≤ 0 / non-finite, invalid footprint.
