roundabout_signal_check — DRIVE pass op

• Data kinds: signal × signal → table

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.roundabout_signal_check(progress, left_on, *, arm_angles: 'Sequence[float]', entry: 'int', exit: 'int', right_on=None, tol: 'float' = 0.05) -> 'Dict[str, object]' (to call the implementation directly, import drivepass; drivepass.roundabout_signal_check(progress, left_on, *, arm_angles: 'Sequence[float]', entry: 'int', exit: 'int', right_on=None, tol: 'float' = 0.05) -> 'Dict[str, object]'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("roundabout_signal_check"))

Usage

Scores signaling inside a roundabout (Art. 53(2) and (4), Rules of the Road (Kyosoku) 5-5-1(2)). Scenario S069.

progress = angle travelled clockwise from the entry [rad], monotonically non-decreasing, per sample; left_on / right_on = signal states (bool).

• left_late: there is a sample between the signal angle + tol and the exit angle where the left signal is off.

• left_early: the left signal is on before the signal angle − tol (looks like exiting at an earlier exit; an interpretation of "signalling without performing the action" in Article 53, paragraph 4, Road Traffic Act (Japan)). Not checked for the exit immediately after entering (signal angle = 0).

• right_signal: a right signal inside the ring road (Article 53, paragraph 2 requires it only when exiting; interpretation of paragraph 4).
