signal_jp_mesh — DRIVE roadjp op

• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.signal_jp_mesh(*, lens: 'float' = 0.3, n: 'int' = 3, hood: 'bool' = True, state: 'str' = 'off') -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import roadjp; roadjp.signal_jp_mesh(*, lens: 'float' = 0.3, n: 'int' = 3, hood: 'bool' = True, state: 'str' = 'off') -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("signal_jp_mesh"))

Usage

Horizontal vehicle signal head (Japanese style). Origin = center of the bottom face of the signal head; the display face points to −x.

Box: width = n·(lens + 0.10) + 0.05 (1.25 m for 3 lamps at 300 mm), height = lens + 0.13 (0.43 m), depth 0.30 m, dark grey. Lenses = discs of radius lens/2 (24 segments) placed 5 mm outside the front face (−x side). The order is green, yellow, red from the left when looking toward −x = green at +y, red at −y (green, yellow, red from the left as seen by the driver — Wikipedia "Traffic signals in Japan"; to be verified against primary sources). n = 2 gives yellow, red; n = 1 gives yellow (single flashing lamp type). Above each lens a visor (thin box, length 0.25 m, hood). Lens diameter is 300 mm (standard 250 mm since fiscal 2017; both are in service).

Return value {"V", "F", "color", "label": 3, "lamp_faces": {"green": (f0, f1), ...}, "width", "height", "depth", "lens"}. lamp_faces is the range of face indices within this mesh (when adding to the world, shift it to the range returned by world_add — the same mechanism as driveworld.add_signal). Only the lamp of state gets the driveworld._LAMP colour; the others get the "off" colour.
