# hydra-atlas

The Python client for the authenticated hydra. Atlas developer app. It gives an agent a small, explicit interface to the Greater Manchester water intelligence APIs while carrying the source, timestamp, quality, uncertainty and review state returned by Atlas.

## Install

```bash
pip install hydra-atlas
```

Sign in at `https://www.hydracompute.io`, create a revocable developer key in the Observatory, then set it for the agent process:

```bash
export HYDRA_ATLAS_TOKEN="hydra_live_..."
```

## Agent use

```python
from hydra_atlas import HydraAtlasClient
client = HydraAtlasClient()
stations = client.stations()
signals = client.signals("level")
```

The client defaults to `https://www.hydracompute.io` and routes through the authenticated `/api/agent` gateway. Set `HYDRA_ATLAS_URL` for a development or private deployment. The developer key is sent as a bearer credential and is never written to disk by the client. Keys can be revoked independently from the Hydra account that issued them.

The client does not infer model readiness. Every response is returned as received, including `sourceState`, `qualityState`, `uncertainty`, `missingFields`, and `reviewState`.

## Command line

```bash
hydra-atlas stations
hydra-atlas signals --parameter level
hydra-atlas waterways
```

Use `hydra-atlas --help` for the complete resource list.
