Voices for the Dictionary's Say: third-party software and voices
=================================================================

Zimi is MIT-licensed. The speech engines below are separate programs that
Zimi runs as child processes (the "zimi-voice" helper in the desktop apps,
or voicehelper.py under Python in Docker and pip installs). Zimi never links
or imports them. Each keeps its own licence; the full licence texts ship
beside them (the *.dist-info folders next to zimi-voice in the desktop apps,
site-packages in Docker and pip installs).

The source of every GPL program above, at the version shipped, is at the
link beside it; the version is in its .dist-info folder (or Debian's package
for espeak-ng in Docker). The GPL-3.0 text is piper-tts's COPYING; the
Apache-2.0 text is misaki's LICENSE.

Voices (downloaded on request, never shipped)
---------------------------------------------
Each voice's licence and credit are listed in Zimi under Settings > Server >
Voices for Dictionary, and pinned in zimi/voices.py. Piper voices come from
https://huggingface.co/rhasspy/piper-voices; Kokoro-82M (by hexgrad,
Apache-2.0, https://huggingface.co/hexgrad/Kokoro-82M) from
https://github.com/thewh1teagle/kokoro-onnx/releases/tag/model-files-v1.0.
Voices under a non-commercial licence, or no stated licence, are not offered.
