SKILLMESH CLI PROPRIETARY DISTRIBUTION LICENSE
Version 1.0 — 23 October 2026

"Licensor" means the lawful copyright holder of the original SkillMesh code
distributed under the SkillMesh product name. SkillMesh identifies the product,
not a representation that a particular legal entity exists. This license has
not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not constitute legal advice.

1. Scope and ownership
This license covers the original SkillMesh CLI launcher and SkillMesh portions
of its bundled runtime (the Software). The Software is proprietary, not open
source. Ownership and all rights not expressly granted remain with the Licensor.
It does not grant rights to SkillMesh trademarks, hosted services or user content.

2. Permitted use
The Licensor grants a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to install
and run lawfully obtained copies for personal use and internal professional or
business use. You may make the copies necessary for that use, deployment within
your organization and backup, preserving this license and third-party notices.
This does not grant access to paid services or additional account entitlements.

3. Modification
Except where mandatory law permits otherwise, modification, adaptation,
translation of code, decompilation and reverse engineering of the proprietary
portions require prior written permission. Statutory rights, including lawful
interoperability, observation, testing and necessary backup rights, are not
excluded or restricted by this license. Creating, modifying, importing and
exporting your own skills is not modification of the Software and is allowed.

4. Redistribution
Except for internal copies permitted in section 2 and mandatory legal rights,
you may not redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, publicly mirror, repackage
or distribute modified copies of the proprietary Software without prior written
permission. You may share links to the Licensor-authorized distribution.
The Licensor authorizes PyPI and its operational infrastructure to host and
deliver the submitted distribution under PyPI's applicable repository terms.
No restriction here overrides rights independently granted for third-party code.

5. Third-party components
Zod and any other identified third-party components remain subject exclusively
to their own licenses, including the MIT license reproduced in
THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Their copyright notices and permissions remain intact.
This proprietary license does not relicense them or restrict their independent
use, copying, modification or redistribution under those licenses.

6. Data and external tools
You retain your rights in your skills and other content. No license to upload
that content or activity to the Licensor is granted by installing the Software.
Node.js and any agent or external service used with it have separate terms.
No affiliation, partnership or guaranteed compatibility is implied.

7. Warranty and liability
The Software is supplied as available, without contractual guarantees of
fitness, uninterrupted operation or error-free results. You must review exports
and retain backups. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor is
not liable for indirect loss or loss of data or profits. Nothing excludes or
limits mandatory warranties, consumer rights, or liability that cannot lawfully
be excluded, including fraud or intentional misconduct.

8. Termination
This permission ends if you materially breach these conditions and fail to
remedy a remediable breach within 30 days after notice. On termination, cease
using and remove proprietary copies, except copies legally required to be
retained. Mandatory rights and third-party licenses remain unaffected.

9. Applicable law and disputes
French law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of
their country of residence. No exclusive court or arbitration requirement is
imposed; competent courts are determined by applicable mandatory rules.

10. Changes and permissions
These terms govern this distributed version. Publishing new terms does not
retroactively alter this license. Permissions outside this license require a
separate written agreement with the rights holder. Without such an agreement,
no additional permission is granted. This license creates no obligation to
offer support or respond to requests for additional permissions.
