Note on Apple-published material
--------------------------------

This project contains NO code, data, fixtures, or other material from Apple's
`apple/security-pcc` repository, which is distributed under Apple's
"PRIVATE CLOUD COMPUTE SOURCE CODE INTERNAL USE LICENSE AGREEMENT" (a
restrictive, non-open-source license that prohibits redistribution of any
portion of that material).

pcc-verify is an independent, clean-room implementation written from Apple's
publicly published protocol documentation (the Private Cloud Compute Security
Guide at https://security.apple.com/documentation/private-cloud-compute/).
Protocol facts implemented here — data-structure layouts, field numbers,
endpoint discovery, and algorithm descriptions — are cited to that public
documentation in source comments.

Contributors: do not copy code, protobuf definitions, or fixture files from
`apple/security-pcc` into this repository. See CONTRIBUTING.md.
