# FinAgent Pro

Pro financial analysis MCP server for any MCP-compatible AI app (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, and more).

Everything in FinAgent (free) plus SEC filing analysis and stock screening.

## Tools

| Tool | Description |
|------|-------------|
| `financial_data` | Stock quotes, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, analyst estimates, insider trades, key ratios |
| `market_news` | Financial news, analyst reactions, market sentiment |
| `sec_filings` | SEC 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K filing reader with section extraction |
| `stock_screener` | Screen stocks by P/E, market cap, revenue growth, sector, and more |

## Quick Start

### Install

```bash
pip install finagent-pro-mcp
```

### Add to your MCP config

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "finagent-pro": {
      "command": "finagent-pro",
      "env": {
        "FINAGENT_LICENSE_KEY": "your-key-here"
      }
    }
  }
}
```

### SEC contact address (optional)

The SEC asks every automated client to name a contact address, and refuses requests that do not. FinAgent Pro sends one with every request to an SEC server. By default it is `support@mcp-marketplace.io`. To send your own instead, set `FINAGENT_CONTACT_EMAIL`:

```json
"env": {
  "FINAGENT_LICENSE_KEY": "your-key-here",
  "FINAGENT_CONTACT_EMAIL": "you@example.com"
}
```

Leaving it unset or empty uses the default.

### Run as HTTP server

```bash
finagent-pro --http --port 8080
```

This listens on `127.0.0.1` only. To accept connections from other machines, pass `--host` and set `MCP_ALLOWED_HOSTS` to the Host values clients will use. Without `MCP_ALLOWED_HOSTS` a non-loopback `--host` refuses to start:

```bash
MCP_ALLOWED_HOSTS=my-server.example.com finagent-pro --http --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8080
```

A value must match the Host header exactly, port included (`192.168.1.20:8080`); `192.168.1.20:*` allows any port.

## Examples

Ask your AI assistant:

- "What's NVIDIA's current stock price and P/E ratio?"
- "Show me Apple's last 4 quarters of revenue"
- "Who's been buying or selling TSLA stock lately?"
- "What are analysts saying about AMZN?"
- "Pull the risk factors from Meta's latest 10-K"
- "Find me tech stocks with P/E under 20 and revenue growth over 10%"

## License

FinAgent Pro 0.3.2 and later is released under the FinAgent Pro Commercial License: see the [LICENSE](LICENSE) file. You can install it, run it and use the free tools at no charge; the premium tools (`sec_filings`, `sec_search`, `stock_screener`) need a license key from [mcp-marketplace.io](https://mcp-marketplace.io). Versions before 0.3.2 were released under the MIT License and stay under it.
