PyCForge 1.3.29 — Runtime validation, ForgeLens, and navigation audit

Release scope
- Runtime AST-to-C emission now records exact source origins and final output
ranges for the existing ForgeLens UI, including companions and closures.
- Independent validation re-parses source, authenticates bundle identities,
checks complete output byte coverage and coordinates, C lexical balance,
callable ABI declarations, and generated jump destinations within functions.
- Validation failure PYC4698 withholds new generated C and mappings.
- Successful output retains PYC4699: these are structural/provenance checks,
not full semantic equivalence or external compilation/execution.
- The requested diagnostics audit confirmed a CRLF/CR bug: an untouched file's
Qt-normalized text could incorrectly retire its quick-view result. Fixed.
- Scan panels/popups, edit/undo invalidation, and deferred navigation guards
remain intact. Existing themed controls and save workflow are retained.

Verification environment
Linux x86_64; CPython 3.12; GCC 13.3; PySide6/Qt offscreen.
No native Windows, MSVC, clang-cl, or PCFC11 testing was performed.

Measured verification
1. Runtime/ForgeLens integration selection: 71 passed, 50 subtests passed.
Includes native C/CPython Runtime comparisons, exception cleanup, supplied
modules, process/controller publication, exact indexing and Qt layers.
2. Existing scan, diagnostics shortcut and Tools UI selection: 59 passed.
Covers immediate staleness, edits while scanning, undo, companion changes,
split editors, rename/close, tab switches, queued navigation, old issue
objects, clean/no-result feedback, repeated menu use and bounded menus.
3. Final new integrity/navigation tests plus Help contracts: 47 passed,
378 subtests passed. Includes malformed range/source/output rejection,
validation cancellation/budget checks, actual Runtime editor highlighting,
Runtime companion-error navigation, Unicode and CRLF/CR/LF navigation.
4. Scan core/extra Qt/Help first selection: 111 passed, 378 subtests passed;
two Help page-count assertions needed updating from 23 to 24. Both updated
assertions passed in selection 3. The scan implementation needed no change.
5. ASan/UBSan selected native exception/cleanup comparisons: 2 passed.
LeakSanitizer disabled for host compatibility; address/undefined checks
halt on first error. This is targeted coverage, not the full project suite.
6. HTML documentation verifier passed all 24 Help pages and 5 categories:
60 Python examples (38 Runtime and 22 Typed native comparisons), 5 API
examples, 3 C callers, 2 module bundles, 3 unchanged README examples.
The new chapter's printed output was checked against its executable example.
Normal and narrow Help renders were visually inspected; existing style kept.
7. A 512-function Runtime module (the existing definition ceiling) converted
and built an authenticated ForgeLens index: 1,252,913 C bytes, 2,560 source
origins, 4,099 output ranges. First/middle/last source queries succeeded.
Observed conversion 1.63 seconds, index 0.28 seconds on this host; these are
   one-run observations, not performance guarantees.

Review notes
Initial regression probes reproduced two diagnostics navigation failures on
CRLF/CR; both pass after the fix. One new test initially assumed empty Runtime
source was accepted; it was corrected to preserve the existing PYC4601 contract.
The Help prose check required removing a development label from the new chapter;
the functional warning and validation limitations remain documented.

Unchanged contracts

Dependencies: PySide6, numpy, numba, jedi, autopep8; no additions.
Runtime C helper headers, PV/PC ABI, Typed conversion backend, scan implementation,
Tools styling, and save controls unchanged. New UI Python changes are confined
to diagnostics freshness comparison for Qt newline normalization.

Not delivered in this release
Runtime reclamation within long-running contexts, split module .h/.c exports,
expanded file profiles, and Typed record boundaries remain subsequent upgrades.
Runtime still has bounded source contracts and caller-owned arena retention.

Package and installed-wheel checks are recorded in the accompanying package
verification evidence included in the source archive and final report.

Final wheel checks
- Public wheel verifier passed: 865 members, 55 icons/495 icon assets, pure
Python wheel, GPL-3.0-only, expected unmodified dependency list, no private
  Ting compiler packaged.
- Installed package loaded from an isolated target directory as version 1.3.29.
All 855 packaged application files match the working source and wheel bytes.
The installed Help catalog contains all 24 pages.
- Installed-wheel integrity and actual Qt navigation selection: 33 passed.
The standalone test launcher has a multiprocessing __main__ guard so spawned
conversion workers do not recursively launch pytest.
- The final external verification report supplies source-archive verification
details and artifact digests after the archive is built.
