# findmypylibrary

Describe a use case in plain English, get a ranked shortlist of real PyPI packages — grounded in real download and maintenance data, not an LLM's memory. Works offline once the local snapshot is built; no API key required for the core recommendation.

**Status: early placeholder.** This release reserves the name on PyPI. The `refresh`/query CLI and ranking engine are still in active development — install instructions and usage examples will land here once the first working version ships.

## Planned usage

```bash
pip install findmypylibrary
findmypylibrary refresh              # one-time: builds a local snapshot from public PyPI data
findmypylibrary "parse messy PDFs"   # instant, offline, ranked results
```
