# I-WANT-TO-STUDY-QUTIP

Notebook-first, executable study material for **QuTiP** and quantum physics.

The package contains guided courses, challenge notebooks, and a shared convention reference. It is designed so the derivation, numerical experiment, saved result, interpretation, and perturbation live together in the notebook.

> This is an independent educational project. It is not an official distribution of the QuTiP project.

## Install

```bash
python -m pip install I-WANT-TO-STUDY-QUTIP
```

## Start

```bash
qutip-study launch
```

On first launch the bundled notebooks are copied to a writable workspace at:

```text
~/qutip-study-workspace
```

You can choose another location:

```bash
qutip-study init --path ~/my-quantum-course
qutip-study launch --path ~/my-quantum-course
```

Check the environment with:

```bash
qutip-study doctor
```

## Course map

- **Start Here** — quantum objects → dynamics → observables
- **A** — quantum dynamics, open systems, measurement
- **B** — quantum optics, light–matter interaction, emitters
- **C** — quantum information, circuits, algorithms
- **D** — condensed matter, lattices, many-body physics
- **E** — quantum control, hardware, engineering
- **F** — mathematical, numerical, computational methods
- **Challenges P1–P5** — derivation/audit, model building, inference, debugging/validation, research integration

The public package intentionally excludes local audit archives, runtime artifacts, and vendored copies of external tutorial repositories.
