The policy

Quality is a setting, never a consequence. The default preset is best: the finest surface grid on the strongest permissively licensed model that fits your machine. The machine decides how long it takes, never how good it is. Faster only with consent: balanced and fast must be chosen, and each says what it trades. Permissive licences only: MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD; Hunyuan3D 2 (non-commercial licence) and Stable Fast 3D (revenue-gated) are excluded by policy. Offline after setup. Measured, not promised: every time estimate comes from runs on this machine; until then it says "not measured yet".
