Lane	Ladder	+

Lane count. Sets how many lanes the table tracks; they auto-distribute evenly across the region's width.
Cells. Click a cell and type. Tab / Enter commits and moves to the next. Click a lane number on the left to select it; Shift-click to multi-select; editing any cell with multiple lanes selected fills all of them.
Brackets. Each metadata column becomes a bracket row above the gel. Consecutive lanes with the SAME non-empty value merge into one bracket labeled with that value.
Ladder. Tick the Ladder cell, then click on the gel at each band's y-position to drop a band; double-click a band size to rename it.

Ready. Open a gel image (or drop one anywhere) to begin.
