The modifications are, in every case, a translation from Java to Rust, the
substitution of this workspace's typed frame, time-scale and element algebra
for Orekit's, and the generic-over-scalar rewrite that lets the same code carry
an automatic-differentiation type. Each file names the Orekit class it descends
from in its module documentation.

Apache-2.0 section 4(d) requires the attribution notices of the original work's
NOTICE file to travel with a derivative. Orekit's NOTICE.txt, verbatim:

sgp4 (Rust crate), version 2.4 -- MIT license
Copyright (c) 2020 International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems
https://github.com/neuromorphicsystems/sgp4
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

  crates/spacelab-gpu/src/batch_sgp4.rs

is a port of that crate's `from_elements` near-Earth initialisation path,
written because the crate keeps the initialised constants `pub(crate)` and a
GPU batch cannot reach them. The MIT notice above accompanies it.

Copyright The Pytroll Community

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

  crates/spacelab-sensors/src/geoloc.rs
  crates/spacelab-sensors/src/scan.rs

are ported from `pyorbital.geoloc` and `pyorbital.geoloc_instrument_definitions`.
The same Apache-2.0 conditions apply to them as to the Orekit-derived files
above.

Data and fixtures -- attributions the terms ask for
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The tables the crates embed and the fixtures the tests read are listed, with
their terms as read and the date, in docs/provenance.md ("The data register").

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is NOT in this workspace
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nothing here is derived from AGPL-licensed, SOFA-licensed or Numerical
Recipes material; CONTRIBUTING.md states the rule and the reasoning. Where a
model's reference implementation carries terms this workspace cannot accept,
the model is either implemented from the published mathematics with the data
supplied by the user at run time, or not implemented at all. docs/provenance.md
names each such case and what was decided.
