Kickoff Companion is free, from Myers Labs. It runs on your computer and talks to CollegeFootballData.com directly: your key, your team and everything you look at stay here, and nothing is sent to Myers Labs. CFBD's paid plans are paid to CFBD, not to us, and they only unlock more data.
Every number in the app comes from College Football Data (CFBD). A key is free: sign up with an email address and CFBD mails it to you.

A key is already set. To change it, open this page on the server computer itself, so nobody else on the network can swap it.
The key is saved in the .env file on the server computer and never sent back to a browser.
Your primary team #1. The Season page, the Pre-Game Program and the In Game sheet follow it, and only this team's colors and mascot theme the app. Its conference comes from CFBD.
The list loads once the key is checked.
Teams you follow closely, like a second school in the family. Each one's team page (schedule, results, stats, ranks, roster) loads as soon as a device connects and sits one tap away on the My Teams page. They do not change the app's colors, and the Season page, the Pre-Game Program and the In Game sheet stay with your home team.
Teams you like to keep an eye on: single schools, a whole conference, or every school in a state. Nothing is loaded for them until a page asks, so they cost almost nothing. They show on the My teams page, in the My teams view of every ranked list, and on the ticker when it is set to My teams.
