Import companies and contacts

Paste a table copied from a spreadsheet (tab separated) or upload a .tsv, .csv or .xlsx file (first worksheet; Excel dates arrive as serial numbers). The first row must be a header. Two modes: companies (one company per row, with an optional contact) and contacts (one person per row, as exported from HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn, Pipedrive or Attio). Auto-detect picks contacts when there is a person name or email column plus a company column. On the preview you can change the mode and what every column imports as. Unmapped columns are kept as lines in the notes. Only empty fields are filled; nothing is overwritten. You get a preview before anything is written.

Headers match ignoring case, spaces and punctuation (Company Linkedin Url = company_linkedin_url).

Companies mode

Columns starting with {% for p in prefixes %}{{ p }}{% if not loop.last %}, {% endif %}{% endfor %} followed by {{ prefixed_columns | join(', ') }} create a contact; other prefixed columns become contact notes.

Contacts mode

Without a company column the company comes from the email domain (freemail addresses excepted); rows with neither are skipped. Companies match by name or website domain, contacts by email, else by name.
