Canny エッジ検出(`skimage.feature.canny、シグマ 0.5+2*a`)による
領域抽出。ガウス平滑化→勾配→非極大抑制→ヒステリシスしきい値という多段の
処理をまとめて行う、広く使われるエッジ検出法。HALCON の `edges_image`
(Detect edges using Deriche, Lanser, Shen, or Canny filters.)に相当
(HALCON は Deriche/Lanser/Shen/Canny を選べるが、ここでは Canny 固定)。
`a がガウス平滑化のシグマを振る。b` は未使用(内部のヒステリシス
しきい値は skimage の既定値)。skimage が無い環境ではこの分岐は呼べない。
