- Consider one size for all interior gravity beams and one size for all interior gravity columns - agent to determine.
- Consider rigid bases and rigid connections in the SMF frames.
- Consider pinned bases and pinned connections for the interior gravity framing.
- Aim for max drift of **2.0%** (allowable story drift = 0.020 h_sx, ASCE 7 Table 12.12-1, Risk Category II).

## Panel Zone Design in the SMF frames
- Joint panel zones designed per AISC 360, Equations J10-11 and J10-12.
- Doubler plates provided where required.
