TAKT Free Binary Licence, version 1

1. Scope and third-party rights. This licence is granted by ABX DEVELOPMENT LLP,
registered in Scotland under no. SO301872, trading as TAKT (https://taktcycles.com).
It applies only to the rights that TAKT is entitled to license in its proprietary
contributions embodied in the binary files identified under this licence in the
notices accompanying this release (the "TAKT contributions"). It does not replace
the licences of third-party components, including components within those files.
Those licences and their copyright and permission notices remain applicable.
Nothing here restricts rights independently granted under those licences, rights
in your own code or data, or rights previously granted for an earlier release.

2. Free grant. Subject to this licence, TAKT grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive,
royalty-free licence, without a fixed expiry date, to install, run and copy the
TAKT contributions as supplied in this release, for any purpose, including
commercial use, and to redistribute the package unchanged with this licence and
all accompanying notices. Commercial use of the functionality supplied under this
licence does not require purchase of another licence. No source code, optimiser,
support service or future update is included in this grant.

3. Restrictions. Subject to clauses 1 and 4, you must not modify the TAKT
contributions, distribute modified TAKT contributions, decompile, disassemble
or otherwise reverse engineer them, or circumvent technical restrictions on
their use expressly described in the documentation accompanying this release.
These restrictions do not prevent you from modifying third-party components
under their own licences or replacing the TAKT binaries with a separately
licensed implementation that does not use the TAKT contributions.

4. Rights preserved by law. No provision of this licence restricts an act that
applicable law permits notwithstanding a contractual restriction. This includes
necessary backup copying, observation, study or testing during authorised use,
and decompilation for interoperability, in each case subject to the conditions
imposed by that law. Performing such a permitted act does not breach this licence.

5. Functionality and other offerings. The documentation accompanying this release
identifies the scope and limits of the supplied TAKT functionality. Any additional
TAKT build, functionality or service is supplied only under a separately accepted
agreement, which may require payment. A link to TAKT's Terms of Service does not
by itself incorporate those terms into this licence or create a payment obligation.
This licence does not restrict functionality available under the licences of
third-party components merely because this release does not accelerate it.

6. Warranty and liability. Except for rights that cannot lawfully be excluded and
obligations separately agreed by TAKT, the TAKT contributions are supplied "as is",
without warranty. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TAKT excludes liability
for loss arising from their use. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for
fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that
cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This clause does not reduce rights or
remedies under a separately accepted order or applicable third-party licences.

7. Termination. Subject to applicable law, your rights granted by clause 2 end
automatically if you breach this licence. You must then cease using and distributing
the TAKT contributions and delete your copies except to the extent retention is
required or permitted by mandatory law. Termination does not affect rights
independently granted under third-party licences or terminate the licences of
recipients who lawfully obtained copies and remain in compliance themselves.

8. Law and versions. This licence is governed by the law of Scotland, and the courts
of Scotland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection
or right to bring proceedings elsewhere that mandatory applicable law gives you,
including any applicable consumer protection. This version governs the rights it
grants for this release; a later licence or website change does not reduce them.
A separately accepted order governs the deliveries and services supplied under
that order, and its rights and remedies are not reduced by this licence.
