Installation

Install from Thonny

  1. Start Thonny 5.
  2. Open Tools → Manage plug-ins.
  3. Search for thonny-pseudocode-i18n.
  4. Install the plugin and restart Thonny.
  5. Open or create a .pseudo / .algo file.

The plugin requires Python 3.11 or newer and installs its coordinated pseudocode-i18n, language-server and Pygments dependencies automatically.

Normal use does not require a manual Node.js Mermaid CLI or system Graphviz installation.

First check

After restart:

  1. create test.pseudo;
  2. press F5;
  3. open the Pseudocode menu;
  4. verify the Diagnostics, Exécution pas à pas, Documentation, Algorigramme and Informations views.

If something is missing, see Troubleshooting.

Developer checkout, editable installs and renderer overrides are documented only under Development.
