render op• Data kinds: image2d → image2d
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.antialias(hi_res_image, ss, filter: 'str' = 'box') -> 'np.ndarray' (to call the implementation directly, import render_ssaa; render_ssaa.antialias(hi_res_image, ss, filter: 'str' = 'box') -> 'np.ndarray'; from the registry, ops3d.get("antialias"))
Downscale a high-resolution image by an integer factor ss (area-average anti-aliasing).
hi_res_image is a float image of (H*ss, W*ss) or (H*ss, W*ss, C). Each ss×ss block is weight-averaged and (H, W[, C]) is returned. filter:
• "box" — equal-weight average (exact area average, the standard for SSAA).
• "gauss" — Gaussian weights emphasising the block centre (σ = ss/2, slightly softer).
Fail-closed: ss is an integer of 1 or more, the input is 2D / 3D, and each side must be divisible by ss. Non-finite values raise ValueError (rejected before allocation so that NaN does not propagate through the averaging).

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
