mesh_decimate_preserving — 3D resolution op

• Datenarten: mesh → table

• Aufruf: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.mesh_decimate_preserving(V, F, target_faces, protect_quantile=0.8, max_error=None, samples=4000, seed=0) (die Implementierung direkt: import meshres; meshres.mesh_decimate_preserving(V, F, target_faces, protect_quantile=0.8, max_error=None, samples=4000, seed=0); aus dem Register: ops3d.get("mesh_decimate_preserving"))

Verwendung

Dezimierung, die detailreiche Bereiche erhält und berichtet, was verloren ging (table).

> Die ausführliche Beschreibung unten ist der Originaltext — Zusammenfassung und Überschriften sind übersetzt.

Vertices whose mesh_detail_map detail is in the top 1 − protect_quantile are protected: meshrepair.decimate_qem never collapses an edge that touches them, so a crater rim, a boulder or an outlier ridge keeps its exact geometry while the smooth remainder is reduced toward *target_faces*. The result carries the mesh_reduction_report; when *max_error* (mesh units) is given and the measured detail_max_error exceeds it, the op refuses (ValueError) instead of returning a mesh that has already lost the features you protect. Returns {"V", "F", "report", "protected_vertices", "protected_mask", "detail_threshold"}.
