tps_warp — 3D deform op

• Data kinds: deformation × points → points

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.tps_warp(model, points) (to call the implementation directly, import deform3d; deform3d.tps_warp(model, points); from the registry, ops3d.get("tps_warp"))

Usage

Deform a point set with a TPS model.

Evaluates f(x) = [1,x,y,z]·a + Σ_i w_i·U(‖x − p_i‖).

Arguments:

model: the dict returned by tps_fit.

points: (M,3) (or 1-dimensional of length 3). The points to deform.

Returns:

(M,3) deformed points (if the input is 1-dimensional, returns (3,)).

Exceptions:

ValueError: malformed model or bad shape of points.
