annotate_orientation — ANNOTATE paper op

• Data kinds: image2d → image2d

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.annotate_orientation(img, angle_deg=0.0, corner='rt', xy=None, size=26.0, margin=16, label='N', color='neutral', width=2, font_size=12, box_alpha=0.0, text_color=None, scheme='okabe_ito', font_path=None) (to call the implementation directly, import annotate; annotate.annotate_orientation(img, angle_deg=0.0, corner='rt', xy=None, size=26.0, margin=16, label='N', color='neutral', width=2, font_size=12, box_alpha=0.0, text_color=None, scheme='okabe_ito', font_path=None); from the registry, opsannotate.get("annotate_orientation"))

Usage

Returns an image (image2d): an arrow plus text showing a bearing (north) or an orientation.

angle_deg has 0 at the top of the screen, clockwise positive (the same as map bearings). The arrow is placed at xy (centre) or in the corner corner.

Raises

ValueError

size is not positive, the arrow does not fit in the image, or unknown corner.
