color_bar — ANNOTATE furniture op

• Data kinds: image2d × lut → image2d

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.color_bar(img, lut, rect, vmin=0.0, vmax=1.0, unit='', label_fmt='{:g}', orientation='vertical', font_size=12, font_path=None, scheme='okabe_ito', border=1, border_color='neutral', text_color=None, style=None) (to call the implementation directly, import annotate; annotate.color_bar(img, lut, rect, vmin=0.0, vmax=1.0, unit='', label_fmt='{:g}', orientation='vertical', font_size=12, font_path=None, scheme='okabe_ito', border=1, border_color='neutral', text_color=None, style=None); from the registry, opsannotate.get("color_bar"))

Usage

The legend of a LUT (a colour bar), labelled with its minimum, maximum and unit.

Parameters

lut : (n,3) or (n,)

Colour lookup table. float [0,1]. The output of palette.diverging_lut as is.

rect : (x, y, w, h)

Rectangle of the bar (top-left origin).

vmin, vmax : float

Values at both ends. vmin == vmax makes the ticks meaningless, so ValueError.

orientation : {'vertical','horizontal'}

'vertical' has vmax at the top (row points down, so the LUT is flipped).

Returns

ndarray

Raises

ValueError

LUT shape/range, rectangle sticking out, vmin==vmax, unknown orientation.
