band_width_profile — DRIVE polish op

• Data kinds: image2d × scalar × scalar → table

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.band_width_profile(image, threshold: 'float', res: 'float', along: 'str' = 'x') -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import polish; polish.band_width_profile(image, threshold: 'float', res: 'float', along: 'str' = 'x') -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("band_width_profile"))

Usage

Reads, with subpixel precision, the width of the band wiped by a straight stroke (direction along) on each line perpendicular to the band: the first and last threshold crossings are found by linear interpolation with the neighboring pixel, and their difference × res is the width. Returns widths (per line; NaN for unreadable lines), centres (band center positions [m], in map coordinates), valid, median. Assumes 1 band (several bands give the width between the outermost edges). Raises ValueError: image checks, res ≤ 0, along not x / y, non-finite threshold.
