bus_stop_rate — DRIVE traffic op

• Data kinds: any → any

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.bus_stop_rate(x, *, bus_rear: 'float', bus_front: 'float', base: 'float', peak: 'float', spread: 'float') (to call the implementation directly, import drivetraffic; drivetraffic.bus_stop_rate(x, *, bus_rear: 'float', bus_front: 'float', base: 'float', peak: 'float', spread: 'float'); from the registry, opsdrive.get("bus_stop_rate"))

Usage

Emergence rate that is high ahead of and behind a stopped bus: λ(x) = base + peak [exp(−½((x − rear)/spread)²) + exp(−½((x − front)/spread)²)] [events/m]. An example of the pattern in which people come out from the bus's shadow (beyond its front end) and from behind it (the values are the caller's assumptions). The upper bound is base + 2·peak.
