ball op• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.cup_catch_check(p_ball, v_ball, cup_center, cup_axis, cup_radius: 'float', ball_radius: 'float', v_rel_max: 'float' = 1.0) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import ballistics; ballistics.cup_catch_check(p_ball, v_ball, cup_center, cup_axis, cup_radius: 'float', ball_radius: 'float', v_rel_max: 'float' = 1.0) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("cup_catch_check"))
Geometric test of whether the ball enters a cup (center, axis, radius): the ball's center lies within (cup_radius − ball_radius) of the cup axis, at a height within 1.5 times the ball radius from the cup surface (0 ≤ height ≤ 1.5 r), and the speed is ≤ v_rel_max. {"caught", "lateral", "height", "speed"}. ValueError if the cup is smaller than the ball.

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
