tacslip op• Data kinds: table × table × matrix × matrix × table → table
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.membrane_shear_field(hz: 'dict', mp: 'dict', X, Y, kern: 'dict') -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import tacslip; tacslip.membrane_shear_field(hz: 'dict', mp: 'dict', X, Y, kern: 'dict') -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("membrane_shear_field"))
Displacement field of the membrane surface: tangential displacements ux, uy obtained by convolving the Mindlin traction q(r) with the Cerruti kernel, the radial displacements urx, ury of the normal load (hertz_surface_ur split into x, y) [m], q, the stick/slip masks mask_stick (r ≤ c) and mask_slip (c < r ≤ a), and r. X, Y are grid coordinates [m] (origin at the center). Raises ValueError: X and Y differ in shape, or do not match n of kern.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
