pegsym op• Data kinds: matrix × scalar → table
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.polygon_offset(vertices, clearance: 'float') -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import pegsym; pegsym.polygon_offset(vertices, clearance: 'float') -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("polygon_offset"))
Polygon obtained by shifting each edge of a convex polygon outward by clearance [m] (corners stay sharp = how hole drawings are made). For a regular polygon this is a similarity enlargement, so orientation and symmetry are unchanged. Returns vertices, normals and offsets (n·x ≤ h). Raises ValueError: not convex, clearance < 0 or not finite, an edge vanishes when shifted (since there are no reflex corners, this only admits shapes where it cannot happen).
