preston_track_profile — DRIVE polish op

• Data kinds: signal × scalar × scalar × scalar → signal

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.preston_track_profile(y, force: 'float', radius: 'float', k_p: 'float', kind: 'str' = 'flat', spin: 'float' = 0.0, speed=None, estar=None) -> 'np.ndarray' (to call the implementation directly, import polish; polish.preston_track_profile(y, force: 'float', radius: 'float', k_p: 'float', kind: 'str' = 'flat', spin: 'float' = 0.0, speed=None, estar=None) -> 'np.ndarray'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("preston_track_profile"))

Usage

Cross-section removal depth h(y) [m] of a long straight stroke (moving toward +x) (y = lateral offset, positive to the left of the travel direction; same shape as y). Closed forms: flat 2 k_p p √(a² − y²); Hertz k_p (E*/R)(a² − y²) (a from the force via Hertz); spinning flat (requires spin = ω and speed = v) (k_p p / v)[c √(b² + ω²c²) + (b²/ω) asinh(ωc/|b|)] (c = √(a² − y²), b = v − ωy). It is 0 for |y| ≥ a. Raises ValueError: numeric checks, spinning without a speed, Hertz with spin (no closed form).
