tacslip op• Data kinds: signal → scalar
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.slip_entropy(mag, bins: 'int' = 16, vmax=None) -> 'float' (to call the implementation directly, import tacslip; tacslip.slip_entropy(mag, bins: 'int' = 16, vmax=None) -> 'float'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("slip_entropy"))
Shannon entropy of the histogram (bins bins, range [0, vmax] — the maximum if omitted) of the displacement magnitudes |u|, normalized by ln(bins) (0..1). The slip indicator of Yuan 2017: it rises as the stick core shrinks and more markers lie on the gradient of the slip annulus. Raises ValueError: no points, bins < 2.
