function op• Data kinds: signal → signal
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.sample_funct_1d(y, step=2) (to call the implementation directly, import funct1d; funct1d.sample_funct_1d(y, step=2); from the registry, ops1d.get("sample_funct_1d"))
Every *step*-th sample (HALCON sample_funct_1d).
Keeps samples 0, step, 2*step, ... — decimation without an anti-aliasing filter (smooth first if the signal has content above the new Nyquist rate).
:param y: 1-D function (may be empty). :param step: truncated to int, must be >= 1 (step=1 copies). :raises ValueError: non-1-D / NaN / Inf input, or step < 1.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
