synth op• Data kinds: pairs → pairs
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.profile_perturb(contour, kind='thicken', amount=0.001, extent=0.1, cycles=6.0) (to call the implementation directly, import profileops; profileops.profile_perturb(contour, kind='thicken', amount=0.001, extent=0.1, cycles=6.0); from the registry, opsprofile.get("profile_perturb"))
Returns a contour with defects of known magnitude inserted. PERTURB_KINDS.
A shape inspection without this silently passes. Use it to insert a thickness increase of 0.001 chord and check whether the detector returns it as 0.001.
Args:
contour: the original contour.
kind: type of defect.
amount: magnitude (ratio to chord). Only "twist" is in degrees.
extent: chordwise range over which "le_erosion" extends.
cycles: number of waves of "waviness".
