keypoint op• Data kinds: position → points
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.position_to_points(position) (to call the implementation directly, import reprconv; reprconv.position_to_points(position); from the registry, opsreprconv.get("position_to_points"))
A position (z, y, x) → a one-point set (1, 3). The exit from position (invertible).
position is a 3-tuple returned by volregion.vol_rle_centroid and the like, and its order is (z, y, x) (the docstring of vol_rle_centroid states this explicitly). Point clouds derived from voxels have the same order, so it can be turned directly into a 1-row point cloud.
Args:
position: a sequence of length 3 (z, y, x).
Returns:
(1, 3) float64.
Raises:
ValueError: length is not 3 / non-finite.
