world op• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.world_blobs_touching(n: 'int' = 10, overlap: 'float' = 0.2, seed: 'int' = 0, *, size=(160, 160), radius: 'float' = 14.0, noise: 'float' = 0.03) -> 'Dict[str, object]' (to call the implementation directly, import segworld; segworld.world_blobs_touching(n: 'int' = 10, overlap: 'float' = 0.2, seed: 'int' = 0, *, size=(160, 160), radius: 'float' = 14.0, noise: 'float' = 0.03) -> 'Dict[str, object]'; from the registry, opssegmentation.get("world_blobs_touching"))
World of overlapping discs (cells/grains): equal-radius circles placed in a chain, each overlapping only the previous one at centre distance 2r(1 - overlap) (world_blobs_touching).
Label = the nearest centre among the circles containing the pixel (overlaps are split by the perpendicular bisector). Image = bright interior + dark rim + overlaps slightly brighter + blur + noise (looks like cells). If a chain cannot be extended further, a new chain is started (that circle overlaps nobody).
Returns: image, labels, count_map (number of circles covering each pixel), truth = {n, centers (n, 2) [y, x], radius, overlap, pairs (m, 2) (overlapping pairs), lens_area (m,) (closed form), areas (n,) (πr² − Σ lens/2), union_area, overlap_measured (pixels covered by 2 or more / pixels of the union)}. ValueError if they cannot be placed.
