Practical 7 — Wireshark (Sniffer)

Aim
Capture and inspect network packets using Wireshark.

STEPS
1. Open Wireshark and select the appropriate network interface.
2. Start a capture and generate permitted test traffic.
3. Apply a display filter to narrow the packets.
4. Select a packet and inspect its protocol layers/details.
5. Stop and save the capture if required.

Filter examples
```text
ip.addr == 192.168.1.10
```
```text
tcp
```
```text
dns
```

Key point: Wireshark captures and analyzes traffic; it does not itself send or manipulate network packets.
