# doppelhand

doppelhand has merged into [agent-browser-bridge](https://github.com/shanewas/agent-browser-bridge) as of its 4.0.0 release. One install now gives an agent both the browser and the Windows desktop. This repository is archived and this package won't change again.

## Where to go

```
pip install agent-browser-bridge[desktop]
agent-bridge daemon start
agent-bridge desktop shot
```

The desktop layer lives at `agent_browser_bridge/desktop/` and the bridge daemon answers `desktop_*` actions on its single `/exec` endpoint. Pillow arrives through the `[desktop]` extra. The agent guide in that repo carries the coordinate-space, multi-monitor and region-shot rules that used to live in the doppelhand skill.

| doppelhand 1.4 | agent-browser-bridge 4.0 |
|---|---|
| `doppelhand shot` / `screen` / `cursor` | `agent-bridge desktop shot` / `screen` / `cursor` |
| `doppelhand click` / `move` / `drag` / `scroll` | `agent-bridge desktop click` / `move` / `drag` / `scroll` |
| `doppelhand type` / `key` / `hold` / `wait` | `agent-bridge desktop type` / `key` / `hold` / `wait` |
| `doppelhand serve` | the bridge daemon, `POST /exec {"action": "desktop_click", ...}` |
| `doppelhand run` | dropped: the agent calling the bridge is the driver, through the `desktop_*` MCP tools |
| `doppelhand install-skill` | the bridge's own skill text |

Result JSON uses `success` instead of `ok`; everything else keeps the same names.

## This 1.5.0 release

`pip install doppelhand` now pulls in `agent-browser-bridge[desktop]` and re-exports `Desktop`, `estimate_seconds`, `ActionError` and `Aborted` from it, with a `DeprecationWarning` on import. The `doppelhand` command prints the pointer above as JSON and exits 2.
