Install the Agent CLI

The CLI runs on every major platform and needs Python 3.10 or newer on the machine.

On macOS install it with Homebrew and confirm the version afterwards.

brew install agent-cli
agent-cli --version

On Linux use pipx so the CLI stays isolated from system packages.

pipx install agent-cli

On Windows use winget from an elevated PowerShell prompt.

winget install AgentCli

Verify the install

Run the doctor command to check permissions, network access and the config file location.
