comminution_energy — DRIVE grind op

• Data kinds: scalar × scalar → table

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.comminution_energy(x_feed: 'float', x_product: 'float | None' = None, law: 'str' = 'bond', C: 'float' = 1.0, n: 'float | None' = None, energy: 'float | None' = None) -> 'dict' (to call the implementation directly, import grind; grind.comminution_energy(x_feed: 'float', x_product: 'float | None' = None, law: 'str' = 'bond', C: 'float' = 1.0, n: 'float | None' = None, energy: 'float | None' = None) -> 'dict'; from the registry, opsdrive.get("comminution_energy"))

Usage

Closed forms of the comminution laws (Reddy Eqs. (1) and (5)-(7)). Give exactly one of x_product and energy.

Integrating the general formula dE = −C dx / x^n gives E = C/(n−1) (x₂^{1−n} − x₁^{1−n}) (n ≠ 1), E = C ln(x₁/x₂) (n = 1). law: "kick" (n = 1), "bond" (n = 1.5, E = 2C(1/√x₂ − 1/√x₁)), "rittinger" (n = 2), "walker" (pass n), "bond_wi" (W = 10 Wi (1/√P80 − 1/√F80); C is read as the work index Wi [kWh/t], sizes in µm; = bond with C = 5 Wi). x_feed allows inf when n > 1 (total energy from an infinitely large feed, Reddy's eqs. (2)–(4)).

Returns: E, x_feed, x_product, law, n, C. Not getting finer (x_product ≥ x_feed) / negative energy → ValueError.
