course op• Data kinds: none → table (an op determined by its arguments alone — it takes no image or data input)
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.course_crank(width=3.5, between=12.0, entry=4.0, corner_radius=1.0, arc_pts=16) (to call the implementation directly, import drivecourse; drivecourse.course_crank(width=3.5, between=12.0, entry=4.0, corner_radius=1.0, arc_pts=16); from the registry, opsdrive.get("course_crank"))
Crank course (Z-shaped): entry → left 90° → B → right 90° → exit.
Follows the measuring method of the figure in Appended Table 3 (3JH00000217782): width A = w; length between corners B is from the outer wall of one road to the inner wall of the opposite road (= centreline distance between corners); entrance/exit part C is from the wall of the crossing band to the entrance/exit (on the centreline, C + w/2); corner cut D is on the inner corner of the bends (the outer corner stays square). The centreline is (0,0)→(C+w/2, 0)→(C+w/2, B)→(2C+w, B), length L = 2C + w + B. Area = w·L + 2r²(1 − π/4) (derivation in the module docstring). Standard (ordinary licence): A = 3.5, B = 12, C ≥ 4, D = 1 → params["regulation"].
Raises ValueError: width, B or C not positive, r < 0, C < r (the corner cut spills into the entrance/exit), B < w + r (the two corners overlap), arc_pts not an integer ≥ 1.
• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).
• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
