cutting op• Data kinds: table × any × scalar × scalar × scalar → rgb
• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.cutting_edge_render(scene, end_face, cut_y_top: 'float', lean_deg: 'float', edge_z: 'float', blade: 'bool' = True, gain: 'float' = 1.0, gradient: 'float' = 0.0, blur_px: 'float' = 0.0, noise: 'float' = 0.0, seed: 'int' = 0) (to call the implementation directly, import cutting; cutting.cutting_edge_render(scene, end_face, cut_y_top: 'float', lean_deg: 'float', edge_z: 'float', blade: 'bool' = True, gain: 'float' = 1.0, gradient: 'float' = 0.0, blur_px: 'float' = 0.0, noise: 'float' = 0.0, seed: 'int' = 0); from the registry, opsdrive.get("cutting_edge_render"))
Image along the cutting edge (RGB). Dark background, food item (main body on the right) and blade (single-bevel, flat face on the slice side).
end_face is the food's end face y(z) (mm): a number gives a flat face; {"z_mm", "y_mm"} or an (N, 2) array linearly interpolates samples (to give it the roughness of the previous cut surface). cut_y_top is the y where the cut surface (= flat face of the blade) meets the top of the food, lean_deg is the blade tilt (from vertical; + means lower parts lean toward the main body = the slice is thicker lower down), edge_z is the edge height. The end face integrates coverage per row with 8 vertical sub-rows.
